Its been a very cold week this week but we have not let it stop us learning and playing in our outdoor area!
We have done so much this week. We have been learning all about how to keep ourselves warm whilst outside in winter weather, we have been on number hunts and we have used our new stompabouts around the garden.
We have played with the bats and balls, taken part in races, and balancing and walking along the beams around our vegetable patch! We have had so much fun, even though it has been cold and icy we got wrapped up and had fun learning.
We have also celebrated Chinese New Year and our wonderful Chef Julie made so many wonderful choices for our Chinese New Year meal. The children all had a little of each dish. We had teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Chinese style stir fried noodles, spring rolls and broccoli, cucumber and vegetables. All served on traditional Chinese plates and bowls! What a feast we had!
