We had a lovely day celebrating Penguin Awareness Day in our Early Learners room today! We used a variety of of tools with playdough to make penguin faces and we learned a new song about a penguin...

I'm a little penguin,
In the snow,
I slide on my tummy to and fro,
I eat fish from the deep blue sea,
I'm black and white as you can see!
Singing is an important part of our daily play, learning and development. It helps us to hear and learn new words, to hear sounds, to learn to count and so much more! Singing also boosts confidence, relieves stress and tension and is a mindful activity that both children and adults enjoy!
