This week the Reception room has been very busy learning all about the bugs in our environment and listening to a variety of bug stories such as The Hungry Caterpillar, Norman the Slug and Super Worm.
We have also learnt the Super Worm chant:
"Super Worm is super long,
Super Worm is super strong,
Watch him wiggle and watch him squirm,
Hip-hip hooray for Super Worm".
We also celebrated Pancake day and St David's Day this week. We used leeks to decorate daffodils, and created our own pancakes. We measured out the ingredients and discussed what toppings we would like, and then we used playdough cutters to cut them into different shapes.
